Gimbal Expansion Bellows

Gimbal Expansion Bellows are a hinge arrangement jointed together by a floating gimbal ring and allows for angular rotation in all planes.  These type of fittings absorb the tensile forces from the operating pressure and makes axial expansion impossible. They can absorb bending forces and are suitable where sturdy fixing points are not possible and in pipe systems where bendings occur. Gimbal Expansion Bellows come with a single or double membrane and overall length restrained by a gimbal hardware assembly are designed to accommodate the full pressure thrust and any additional loading from external sources.
